Numerous residents have reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in Twin Lakes Estates over the past few months. The car is an orange mid-2000’s Mitsubishi Eclipse with dark tinted windows, similar to the one pictured. It has been observed driving very slowly through the sub-division during the daylight hours, and typically during the week. It will sometimes come to a stop at various homes around the division. In addition, some residents have reported seeing a female passenger taking pictures of homes from within the car (on more than one occasion she has even gotten out of the vehicle to take pictures).

If you see this car, make an attempt to get the license plate number and notify the Clay County Sheriff’s Department at (816) 407-3700 – request an officer be dispatched to investigate. In addition, please make note of the time and date you observed this vehicle and report it to the TLHA Board, so that it can be added to a formal suspicious activity report.
